The result is excellent wines, appreciated all over the world for how tradition and new technologies come together in high quality products but also for the philosophy chosen by the company, which has always envisaged to favor integrated pest management, manual processing vineyard and cellar and the great attention and respect for the environment.
Barolo is the flagship wine of the Livia Fontana winery; loved and appreciated in history by nobles and powerful people, it has always been considered the “wine of kings and the king of wines”. It owes its particular personality above all to the characteristics of the soil rich in clay, limestone and minerals. It is a great Italian wine obtained exclusively from the Nebbiolo grapes.
